

About Coach Isaac
Coach Isaac Wright is the founder and head coach of APEX VELOCITY COACHING.
He brings three years of formal coaching experience, including coaching AAU track for the Charlotte Panthers Track Club and serving as a volunteer coach for Hickory Ridge High School in 2024.
Throughout his coaching career, Coach Isaac has developed a proven track record of athletic excellence, having coached 3 North Carolina State podium finishers across various high school classifications, 2 AAU Junior Olympic Qualifiers, 1 USATF Junior Olympic Qualifier, and 3 All-Americans.
Prior to transitioning into coaching, Coach Isaac spent seven years competing with the Charlotte Panthers Track Club. He went on to compete at the NCAA Division I level for UNC Asheville, specializing in the 400m sprint under the guidance of the late Coach Joel Williams.


Coach Isaac is currently pursuing a degree in Exercise Science from the University of North Carolina at Pembroke.
